Sycamore Trip /w My CST, Tranny Questions

Had a fun trip today to sycamore creek in the AZ heat. Finally have the truck running well enough that i could do some decent offroading, had a blast. Here are some pics.

Was also wondering about my th350 transmission, anyone else have issues with it getting super hot? Whenever I hit the highway for awhile it starts acting up on me. If only i wouldve gone with a 400 instead of having mine rebuilt. Anything i should look at as far as a culprit? Possible cooling upgrade?
