2.5" exhaust is plenty for the LS motors unless you have a lot of HP. Nice build by the way.
May I make a suggestion on your cold air intake. 90's model caddy air box. Seal up the factory opening and drill a 4" hole in the bottom of it. Buy one 4" ninty and 2 coupling from Lowes. Drill a 4" hole through the core support and bottom of air box then install the coupling from the front of the truck then the ninty and the other coupling through the hole in the box.
