Plug wires, looms, brackets, and heater hose support info
Have a WTB thread going but thought i'd see what anyone here knew...
Buying small detail parts that i haven't gathered yet for my 66 327, and i saw that the wires are apparently run under the manifold, and guided by some spark plug loom wires in the back of the block? My block has holes, but PO must've pitched the brackets. Also missing the bracket that supports the heater hoses at the heater core connection. Does anyone know of sources for these parts besides finding used (which i'm ok with, just short on time, and would rather put those looms on BEFORE sheetmetal goes on.) Also, for you guys running the wires under this way, if you have a partnumber for some plain jane stock style wires, please throw it up! I'm probably going to get a ready to run distributor (black cap and scuff up the billet and make it look stock) since a) my distributor is just beat and b) the numbers cross to a 327 chevelle w/o air, so it's not original anyways. Probably end up selling it, but will still be getting a distributor that has the stock wire connections. Thanks all for the info and help!
