LS1 swap.. alternator clearance problem

Hy again,

i also have the common problem that the pitman arm of my 2gen Camaro is touching the alternator of the LS1...

On the web i saw some solutions with changing the steering linkage to a firebird setup...

To the fact that i just bought all the camaro linkage parts new...are there maybe some other solutions ???

In my setup only the nut is touching the alternator so that means its just about a few millimeters...

Thanks for Help
