adjusting a turbo 400 kickdown switch?

hey fellas, when I got this truck last year. it didn't have a KD switch.

didn't notice it missing till last week. im installing it right now. my question is.

should I adjust it to kickdown before or after the secondary's kick in on my holley?

I ran out of time today. tomorrow ill 'pick back up', at it.

by the way. I wasn't comfortable about a 12v source sitting right below n down wind of my carb. so I used my old throttle cable and relocated it to a safer area.

any help I sure would appreciate!

larry
