Re: 1972 Correct Fuel Pump?
Here's another bump.
The fuel pump looks to be a replacement. No telling what year was ordered but the size of the fitting is for either a 3/8 or 5/16 fuel line. Easiest thing to do is to get a fitting that can either reduce or increase the size of the line connector. If you want to be more correct, I would contact the local vendors on this site and ask them for help in getting the correct parts.
