4 speed swap

So in light of my th350 going out in my 84 c10, I've got all but a flywheel and a driveshaft to convert to a Saginaw 4 speed out of a 76 Camaro. I will be running manual linkage and a factory pedal set so that's the straight forward part.

My question is since the shifter mounts all the way at the back of the trans which is the stub style not the long style. I've had a truck with the granny geared sm465 and the shifter was close to the seat. How far back will it be with this trans? Anyone have pics or done this swap? I would like to keep my bench and a comfortable length shifter. Right now all I've got is the one from the Camaro. Thanks for any help.
