72 K10 LSX swap I'm one step closer

Ok guys I'm close to pulling the trigger to make an LS happen

What I'm dealing with for those unfamiliar with my situation I have a 72 K10 long bed. I have basically a brand new th350 trans so I want to use this trans and I really don't do any freeway or over 60 mph driving so OD is not a priority. I want drive ability and reliability.

PI know I need a front crossmember. Who's is best!? I'm leaning towards the dirty dingo. I want no more than a 2" lift when all is said and done.

Another thing I have seen referenced is the close proximity to the firewall. Is this an issue how or will I experience this?

,fuel tank I would like to just use a factory square body blazer type in frame tank as I feel it would be most cost effective. If there is a simpler bolt in option please share.

Again thanks for the support and please share links I may have missed to builds
