Post Tranny Swap Question

Am about to swap out my 1972 TH400 with TCS for a 1980 TH400 w/o TCS. Can anyone tell me what I need to change, if anything. The temp sender is different but I don,t know if that's aconcern. Also, the newer tranny has one prong on the plug on its side where the TCS tranny has two. I may be able to just turn the plug but don't want to mess up this tranny. Also, have switched to HEI so I'm not sure the TCS is doing anything anyway. Thanks for your help, Gary
