1964 C10 3-Speed to Super T10 Swap
I am seeking help and information on a swap from a 3-Speed (Borg Warner non-syncro 1st) in my 64 to a 1978 Super T10 (yes I now about overdrive and have done that before, just going old school on this project).
The truck was converted to a 74 350 before I got it but still has factory bell-housing and 3-speed. 1) Can I use the same Bell Housing? 2) Does it require any machining? 3) Clutch, Pressure Plate ? 4) Throw-out bearing? Anyone need/want a three-speed? I was told it was rebuilt just before I bought the truck and it's going to keep my old T350 company out back. |
