Which type shifter?
I need to buy a floor shifter for the TH400 I'm putting in my '65 and, I'm wondering if I should get a linkage type shifter or, a cable operated type. I'm thinking a cable operated shifter would allow you more options for location but, does a linkage type have better feel and shifting characteristics? Any opinions would be appreciated.
