6.0/4L80E length/weight?

I have my eyes on a 6.0/4L80E (at least I think that's what the trans is). It's a 135mi drive each way. 2WD truck (06 Silverado).

I'd much rather take my old station wagon than the truck, it'll comfortably cruise at 75 vs the truck burning twice as much gas at 55. I don't mind getting the interior a little messy if the engine is a little messy. I don't know if it'll fit.

Anyone know how long/heavy the combo is?

Also, did the 6.0 ever come in front of a 4L60E in a truck or did it always get the 80?
