Not a build thread.
Well I bought this 1960 a while back, based on a few pics the guy sent me.
It appeared good in the pics, so I had it hauled to town here. The box is real good, the hood and grille are mint. But the roof is really bad for rust. The doors were in good shape, just a few small dents. This is a 2 year project, so I am having it done slowly. My body man says he could fix the roof, or replace it, so I started looking around. And then I ran across this beauty, a 1962 GMC SWB. The roof is solid, has a little rust in the floor. So I am thinking of using the cab for mine, and the SWB frame and box, and sell parts I don't need. |
