Fuel tank question
I'm putting an '87 fuel tank in my '80 C10, and I'm finding the fuel inlet ports are different sizes. From the catalog pictures I've seen, the fill tubes of the respective trucks are also different, both size and mounting wise. Has anyone run into this situation and what were your solutions? I'm thinking on using some sort of spacing sleeve on the smaller fill tube of the '80 truck so that the larger '87 fuel hose can be used. Is this a viable choice? Thanks
