What is a good riding 2.5" lift for an 03 1500.

I am wanting to take my superlift off that advertises 6.5-7.5" of lift. Just too tall and is a rougher ride than I want. Thought about going back stock but also considering up to a 2.5" lift. I assume most might have keys and lift blocks for the rear. I don't do any off roading. I just want a better ride and lower than what I have now. Running a bigger tire than stock would be a plus too. Is a kit with keys the way to go and still have a good ride. If I can't get a good ride out of a small lift then I will just go buy all the components needed to put it back to stock.
