Help with LS Swap dealing with 4x4 and NP241 TCase. Speed sensor.
I am LS Swapping a 1987 GMC V1500. It is kind of a unique swap, especially when concerning wiring.
My build thread is here. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...627161&page=17 I am using a 2001 4.8/4L60E NP241 (PS drop out of a 91 K5) setup. I am using the instrument cluster and column out of the 2001 donor and wiring the truck with the 2001 wiring harness. I need to hook up the speed sensor so I can drive in more than just 1st gear. Any help on how to do this? Also there seems to be a harness for the transfer case that ties into the rest of the transmission harness but I cannot find where to plug it all back in! I searched and searched and found nothing. Any insight on this? Also anyone know what size bolts it takes to attach the front drive shaft to the NP241?
