hey guys so i want to get a automatic floor shifter for my 65 c10 its a low trans tunnel thing is .. i don't want to have to remove the trans to put in a shifter seems to me to be a lot of unnecessary work to do just for a floor shifter ... i would prefer to mount to the floor ... next is im one of those guys that like the tall rat rod look of a shifter so its kinda what im wanting to go with as far as style BUT lol all of what i have seen has this mounting system that mounts to the top of the trans and would require me to drop the trans out of the truck ... i just cant see doing this for a shifter . so im asking for ideas on how to accomplish this look and or what you guys are using for floor shifters the ease of installing them the use of them durability and such . i may change my mind to something you guys have it it proves easier to install and is durable ... also money plays a big part to lol im not made of it
