I had the frame pulled and drove it for a year. I let a friend borrow it and the 1st day out an 80 year old lady cut in front of him . He hit her at about 40MPH and rearranged the frame and front end again. I bought it back from the insurance. I spent the $3300 they gave me from the accident and purchased all of the trim new from Chevrolet in 1988. I replaced the front clip and repainted the exterior. I have driven it from that time until 2005. I still drive it on and off. I tow the jet ski to the lake or take it to small shows. I have several vintage vehicles but this was the 1st Blazer and I love it.
