72 Jimmy "Colonel Mustard"

This is the day that it was delivered.

Had some fun driving it for a few years while we were building my son's 86 K-5

His is very close to finished, so I figured it was time to start my build.

My plans are:
Frame off resto
Rust repair
Powdercoat frame, axles etc.
Install a 6.0l/4l80E from a 2004 chevy 2500 donor
Rebuild transfer case
Rebuild diffs
Recover and install seats from 2004 truck
Bodywork and repaint with a fresh coat of OCHRE
Vintage or similar A/C system
Dakota Gauges

I've been checking this site out and there is an incredible amount of info and parts resources. My son and I had a lot of fun on his build and I'm really looking forward to getting mine going.
Hopefully I can fund it.

Here is how it sits now.
