Need hydrualic plumbing ideas from M12x1.0 to ???
Since I am dong my 5 speed swap I need to get the clutch line plumbed. I have decided to go with a SS braided PTFE line between the clutch MC and slave cylinder. I am trying to get from a M12x1.0 connection at the clutch MC to a -AN3 style male in as short of a distance as possible. If I could get an adapter from M12x1.0 male to M10x1.0 female that would be great (because nobody makes a M12x1.0 to -AN3 adapter but I can get a M10x1.0 male to a male -AN3 fitting).
Here is my problem....I need to find an adapter fitting that screws into the clutch MC that seals correctly. The stock line would screw into the clutch MC using the M12x1.0 end fitting. What style end (without a line in it) will screw into the clutch MC and properly seal? Is it possible to use a M12x1.0 bubble end or do I want an inverted flare end? I would like to get from the female M12x1.0 in the clutch MC to a M10x1.0 female. If I can't get that then I could make do with a M12x1.0 to 1/8NPT female. Any thoughts?
