Tuning Software or Aftermarket ECU

Ok so I have been doing a lot of research and I have tried all the simulated software but I'm still not set on one in particular. I'm not trying to start a bashing thread nor am I going to bash any brand. So far the Holley software seems to be the most user friendly, with MS3 pro(TunerStudio) next and then HPTuners.
My combo is a 04 5.3, 243 heads, Lunati 60510 Cam, 4l80e in a 1973 C10. I will have a turbo later on down the road but I need a tune now bc I am going from a th350 to the 4l80e and I want to learn to tune my own stuff.
Price wise the HPTuners wins but the Dominator/MS3 pro has more features compared to HPTuners.
HpTuner $649
Dominator $2,000+
MS3 Pro with harness $1,600
I'm looking for input good or bad for each from first hand experience.
