Return vs. return less fuel rail

My 6.0 has the old style fuel rail with the return line. Is it better to use the returnless fuel rail and corvette filter/regulator or my original setup. I have access to the later style if needed.

I just finished up my frame and I ready to start my LSx swap.

I got my new spectra GM11C gas tank and it doesn't have the baffle. It is the same as my original tank (GM11B). So I'm a lilttle bummed out.
