Score of the day (i think)

So I usually hang out on the 67-72 boards, but being a square body guy at heart, I'm always looking at parts and when a buddy says, "I'm going to crush it so take what you want," I tend to jump on it. Long story short I acquired a tach cluster today, I was pretty excited even though I no longer own a square body, but I had to have. But I had never educated my self on the different types of clusters, having km/h and mph I was a little thrown off, so I guess my questions are is this cluster even desirable and worth having? What year(s) is it out of, and is there a way to test the tach? i noticed its a three wire pig tail, so I assume it would be pretty simple. Also can you restore the clear gauge cover? It was out of a truck with a silverado dash badge if that helps any. Thank you in advance
