Re: My 52 GMC Build
Thanks Jim
So Thursday morn October 20. We woke up said goodbye and hit the road by about 8:30. We where to drive to Charlotte NC. Truck ran great only issue I had was the motor would heat up a bit going up some of the long grades in West Virginia. We where cruising at 65mph by the top of some hills we backed down to 55mph. Lots of power tho and the truck was very comfortable. Longest single run we did was 3.5hrs doing 65mph, We had enough fuel for 4.5hrs but I needed a stretch. I see cruise control in the future. We made it to our camp site by 8:00pm, GPS said 14hrs of moving time since we left home and 790mi. We camped just down from Zmax drag strip gates where open so we walked up and checked it out.
