67-72 vs 73-87 frames, were they the same?

apologies I was way too lazy to search for this, a body of mine has a 67-72 cab and front clip off a 2WD that I would love to put on my '74 short bed is that easily done, he thinks not much has changed in the 2WD short bed frames during those years

so a 67-73 2WD short bed to a 1974 2WD short bed
