what is the right roch. carb for my 79 sub?
Hello,
i have a special question regarding my R4-M4MC Quadrajet Qjet Carburator. It has the number: 17059520 / 1449 CCP. I am looking for an information (web)site where I could figure out if it is the original installed carburator in my 79 Suburban. Why? The problem is, that I am missing tons of parts, i.e. all parts of the choke system are gone and lots of vacuum slots are very bad (closed). I bought the car 15 month ago ... didnt take a look under the air filter ^^ right now, i bought a used carb and rebuild some parts. but - before I swap to a newer modell or something - i would know, if the 4bbl is the right one ... original installed.
