K5 rear window
I got a new rear glass for my k5 to replace the one that busted. I put the new one in, but I ended up having to drive the truck before rolling it up. Long story short, I now have a predicament.
The glass is in, but it's the way down. The cable to connect to the motor is stuck under the glass. How can I raise this window a bit to get the cable? I can't take the bolts back out of the glass because of the rubber channel in the bottom of the gate. Tried that, the rubber piece puts them a bind I can't pry up on the glass. Tried that with strap steel hooks that I bent to fit under the braces. I can't smash the window with a hammer. It's raining and it took me two months find the last one. Any ideas?
