30-years, 60-Years and stil going

This past week had the chance to take the 1988 Suburban out pulling the 1956 22' Airstream. Driving up the road from Front Royal, VA to Bath, NY the light bulb went on to the fact, here's a 30 year old Suburban pulling a 60 year on travel trailer, what could go wrong?

The answer: "Nothing"

Both the Suburban and the Airstream did well with no issues even pulling some of the grades on Route 15. Now was it a speed demon with the factory 350 TBI motor with it's newly rebuilt Phoenix Transmission 700r4 when going up those hills, "No". Will there be an upgrade to a 383 Stroker when the factory 350 with only 93,000 miles gives up? "Maybe"

Regardless, the trip was great, people loved the two units of history being used the way they were meant to be used, having fun!
