Dually Axle

I am getting ready to swap out the Eaton axle under my 65 C30. The truck is a drw and has a flat bed. I want to keep the bed and keep it a dually. I have a 14bolt out of my 73 GMC 3/4 ton (srw) with 3.73 gears (5.13s in Eaton now). I know I will need to weld new perches on the axle to match my spring width. Does anyone know if standard dually rims will bolt onto the srw axle? I have read that some rims fit and some wont. I need new rims since the truck has split rims now and I dont want to buy a set of rims only to find out they dont fit. I know the srw axle is wider than what is under the truck now but it is only 2 in per side so that doesnt bother me. If anyone has done this I would love to see pics and hear what you had to do. I dont want to look for another axle because I know the history of this axle and I know it is in good condition and has a limited slip in it already.
