Question 1975 c10trans swap

Hello All,
I'm glad to be a new member on this site and look forward to
a long time of sharing stories and getting and giving help.

Right now I'm having problems w/ a tranny swap I have a 1975 c10
350sbw/350turbo trans, grabbed as restore project the tranny is fried
and since I do a lot of towing I want to upgrade to TH400, & here is where my problems start my th350 has a 9inch tail shaft and it seems all the th400's I can find at the salvage yards have 4 inch tail shafts.
Since I'm on such a tight budget does any one know of a GM out there with the right size drive shaft that could be used in the swap instead of having mine lengthened?
ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED
