NY WTB Ball stud bracket for small Block

My 69 Blazer K5 came with a bracket that bolts to the block that the ball stud is screwed to. It moves the ball stud 5" forward of the hole in the block where it is normally located. It looks like it has been welded so I would prefer to find one that has not been adulterated. I can't move the z bar backwards so it would line up across from the hole in the block because the linkage bar can't reach it as it hits on the bottom of the hole through the firewall before reaching the z bar arm. OR, if a 4X4 should have a z bar with a longer arm that would meet the linkage arm at a less severe angle let me know. I have no idea what has been done to this over the past 50 years. Thanks
