Under-dash AC units, and mounting them on the floor?
Putting together parts for the K10, and I'm thinking about adding AC for the Georgia summers.
BUT, I have a Corvair under-dash radio pod that looks like it was made for the Knee Knocker double-hump dashboards--I'm mounting that under the radio in the dash, and converting it to a storage cubby and phone charger port, like modern cars have but with a vintage look. That means if I get an Underdash Air unit, I'll have to mount it on top of the trans hump, as close to the firewall as possible to clear the later 4spd OD shifter (that mounts further forward and toward the driver than the factory Granny 4) Anybody have pics of an underdash AC unit mounted on the floor?
