Whats everyone generally doing for fuel line and fittings ?

Im guessing for 300HP that -6AN (3/8) together with a few adapter firttings like

3/8 line is the inlet

5/16 is the return

Seems to be a huge variation in lines and fittings - any recommendations from what you used on your project ?
