Two piece driveshaft carrier replacement. Any help?
Hey guys,
I just picked up a 71 LWB that needs a new carrier bearing for the two piece driveshaft. Any tips that you guys can think of on replacing one? I already bought a new Timken bearing. Pretty straightforward work to me but I thought I would ask anyways. BTW...Is there any way to go to a one piece driveshaft?? What about something a bit stronger? I am building a 400+ hp SBC to go in this truck and I wonder how much stress this design can take? Any help there??? thanks much CHRIS
