Are certain years easier to bag?

Probably a stupid question but Im looking for a c10 and I really like the early 60's, but also the square bodies....

I plan to eventually do air ride, so I was curious if that should sway my decision at all....are there better kits/parts for one generation of truck than the other? Easier/less fab work?
Does it matter?
Thanks!
