66 Clutch Linkage Bellcrank

Still working on the 292 I6 to 350 V8 swap. I have all the parts to rebuild the bellcrank (felt washers, plastic cups, etc).

Next question:

I have the stock bellcrank from the 292 / factory 4 speed, I'm assuming this will work with the V8? I also have the engine side bracket that spans the 2 large holes with the integral ball stud off of a 71 C10. On the 66 swap, will I use this bracket/ballstud combo, or will the ball stud screw directly into one of the 2 threaded holes in the block? If so, which hole, the front or rear?

Thanks!
