DBW - PCM/TAC/Pedal compatibility

Working on my LQ4 swap into 1971 Blazer. The motor, transmission (4L65e), TAC, and Pedal are all out of the same 2004 Yukon Denali. I have now realized that this is the adjustable pedal that was available in many models. I would like to find a fixed pedal from a similar model truck and use one of Hart Rod's adapters.

Can I do this with my current TAC or will I have to get one that matches the car I got the pedal from. I have read a number of threads where people were unable to get the PCM from a truck with adjustable pedals to work with a fixed pedal. Apparently the range of movement was different. They were unable to program the PCM to account for the change. I never saw any resolution to these issues in the threads I read and they were all pretty old.

Any advice?

Thanks.
