Trying my hand at bucket seat upholstery and have a few questions

Hey guys - this is my first time trying to do upholstery and i have a few questions. I got my seat covers and foams new from PUI. These are for 1970 Blazer sport seats. I have attached the listing wires from the new covers to the seat foams but i have no definition in the bolsters. I have attached pictures of the seat bottom foam before and after i have attached the cover. Shouldnt the foam have more definition from the factory? it is nearly flat. Or is this what i get for buying PUI? I am nearly finished stretching the cover to the seat frame but dont want to go further if something isnt right. Any input is appreciated.
