what I do with old split rim tires is install a "lock on" style tire chuck on an air hose that is not plugged into an air supply. install from the back side in case the ring lets go and let the air out. when flat take the tires off, if they are still good, and then you can take the rims to a shop and see if you can match them up to something. I never stand in front of a split rim, I use the lock on chuck and stand behind the wheel so if the ring lets go all my body parts stay in one location. for all the money we spend on these trucks a new set of safe wheels should be considered one of the things required for the build.
