Odd question for y'all.
I am contemplating putting my 70 GMC body on a 04ish 4wd Tahoe/Yukon chassis. I already have a 6.0l/4l80e from a 2003 1 ton van, 2wd. Can I convert the 4l80e to 4wd and make it work with the transfer case I will find in my donor chassis? I actually have a transfer case my son left at my house that is the nonelectric shift version that I can steal if that will help my case. I'm just curious if I need to have a running donor vehicle or can I find one that has no motor/transmission.
