The problem was that the turn signals seemed to have a mind of their own. Like THEY decided when to blink and when not to. It was frustrating because it took me a while to nail it down because I would swap a wire here or there and it wouldn't fix any thing. I went through turn signal switches, replace the dash harness, swapped the lights back and forth, even ran a ground wire straight to the battery.

The problem with LEDs is you can wire them backwards and they will still work. ask me how I know. That was were it all went wrong. Because they were wired up backwards they would blink when they weren't supposed to. Not blink at all when they were, and simply shut off when the headlights were on.

But I fixed it and my truck looks like a xmas tree at night now and I love it all the more for it.

THE FIX: for LMC led light on a 71 Chevy truck
LMC light | D F | D R | P F | P R
Red wire > black | red | blue | red
Black wire > brown | brown | brown | brown
White wire > ground

I have read on here that the LED's are polarity sensitive. Glad you finally got it sorted out.
