Found a ‘64 and a ‘66

Been a long time since I posted anything. I sold my ‘66 BBW short box years ago. I’ve had the itch for another one for a while and started looking. Things have changed and man these trucks are getting scarce! I’ve found 2 that I’ve known about for many years and surprised they are still sitting untouched. And of course in worse cond.

The first is a 1 owner 64 SBW short bed. True custom cab, factory 283 w/3 on tree. All original, but she’s rough, needs hood, rockers, front cab braces, tailgate is shot, bed needs a few small patches too.

The 2nd is a ‘66 BBW short bed fleet, standard trim, and needs just about the same work as the 64. It has a slightly better hood that might can be repaired with new front panel. The bed is better and has a decent gate. It’s a 230 6 cyl. truck.

I’d like to buy both but I’ll be lucky to talk either one into selling but they are at least listening to an offer.

What’s your thoughts? An original black paint 64 w/283 and a true custom cab or a BBW ‘66? I like both and kinda lean toward a BBW but I like the SBW trucks too.
