Re: My 1963 K20 Stepside - Going to be lots of questions ....
I was wrestling with the same dilemma after picking up my '64 in late April. Even though the truck was very solid, almost everything needed to get touched at some point in the future.
It took a while to not get bothered by all the things that "should" get addressed and after 3 months of "eating the elephant" it is finally on the road with most of the basics addressed. I purposely bought mine to have something to tinker with periodically.
Now the marathon journey continues as I keep reminding myself this is not a sprint. Finally driving it for a fill up this past weekend had me giddy like a kid and got me even more motivated to continue with the plan. But it was a reminder for me that keeping it drivable is key as the last couple weeks as I worked through getting a temp wood bed installed was really dragging me down.
Good luck and keep at it!
