I've seen some people take an 55-86 intake manifold and oblong the 4 center holes to work on the newer cylinder heads (87-95).

If the motor is a 1986 motor, then you should be able to reuse the intake manifold off your 1984 305.

Here's a pic with more info.
I'll get him to send me a pic of it, the valve covers should be a dead giveaway never even thought of that before!
