Why does this wiper switch have 2 knobs?

I have a 71 K10 and my switch pushes in and twists left and right with 1 knob. I'm assuming that's how it is supposed to be. I actually don't have it together yet. I saw this knob on ebay supposedly for a 60-70 GM and was shocked to see 2 knobs. What could that be all about?
