engine change-out - questions
I am installing a new 350 in my 84 Chevy Silverado.
I noticed the intake did not have lockwashers on the bolts on the 305 I took out. Is that common and do I need to install a flat or lock washers......how about lock tight or anything? Also, the torque converter was bad and I will be installing a new one. How much fluid do I need to pour in the dry converter before installing it? And last but not least, there is a small o-ring on the end of the shaft on the end (engine side). Should I replace it? Thanks in advance for the help. Bill |
