Rearend measurments
I found a 3.73 coil rear to replace the slowly dying 3.07 rear in my '72, which along with the brakes is the main thing it needs to be road worth again, and should make the truck run a 14 second 1/4 mile if i can get traction
![]() Anyway, the easiest way for me to pick it up would be if i can fit it in my Saturn. I don't know if i can do it, but i'm thinking with the back seat down, and the front passenger seat all the way up and folded forward, it might fit. So, i need the measurments of the rearend from wheel studs to wheel studs, outside diamater of the brake drums, and height of the punkin from the end of the pinon yolk to the outside edge of the inspection cover on the back. If i can wrap it up in tarps and plastic so it won't ruin my car, and slide it in through the trunk i will be set and not have to borrow someone else's vehicle. Thank you for any help! ![]() ![]() Oh, forgot. It is a '72 5-lug 12 bolt rear.
