easiest way to convert is to use later model parts, from a 73 to I think 88. Rebuild front end components bolt on to cradle or replace full front cradle. Rear new ubolts, possibly brake lines. A lot of people don't check the pinion angle after a swap, if you have a vibration that's probably why.
As far as price goes, it seems a little high and I am on the east coast. I have bought 2 big window, one lwb the other swb fleet side with a 5.3/460le not hooked up.
both pretty much rust free already 5 lug swaps, both unfinished projects but almost complete. The lwb was 1500, the swb was 3500.
