Tranny problem

Having problems with my 89 Blazer I bought a few months back, when im on the gas anything more than lightly when the tranny shifts it seems to delay, so much when ur really on it you lean forward in ur seat instead of gettin thrown back like you should. Its done this since I bought it, hasnt got any worse but heres some more info.

Tranny was rebuilt 11/20/03(has 2 year warranty)
Truck was back in the shop 12/5/03(230miles later)
Problems:Metal in pan, remove transmission for inspection.
Work doneparts)misc. seals/gaskets, torque conv(it was replaced the first time, 230miles ago), and refilled fluid.

What do you guys thinks goin on? I think maybe bad torque converter, or a shop the doesnt have a clue what they are doing.

Thanks!
