Rochester 2G Rebuild
I am at a standstill on rebuilding my carb. The OE carb number tag is no longer attached. The only number I have found on the carb is stamped under the fuel bowl. 7035027. But, this number does not show up as an OE carb number. At least no where I have found.
NAPA needs the OE carb number to make sure I get the right rebuild kit. But this number did not show up in any of thier carb listings. LMC sells a "carb repair kit" for the 2G that is not for specific OE carb numbers. But I don't know if it is a complete rebuild kit, or not. Any suggestions? Past experiences? I would prefer to try this myself, to gain experience with the truck and to save a little $ for other projects on the beater. But, I might have to go the reman route, (for almost 10 times the cash!), Thanks
